Angela Jerman-Ormsby began playing golf at the age of 11 in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia. Her passion and talent led her to the University of Georgia, where she became a standout on the women’s golf team. In 2001, she helped lead the Bulldogs to an NCAA National Championship title, earned SEC Player of the Year, and was later selected to represent the United States as a member of the Curtis Cup Team in 2002.
Angela went on to compete on the LPGA Tour for seven years, gaining valuable experience at the highest level of professional golf. After stepping away from the tour to focus on her personal life, she married fellow PGA professional Todd Ormsby in 2013. Together, they built a family-centered life rooted in teaching the game they love, launching TAG – True Approach Golf, a company focused on developing the next generation of golfers—on and off the course.
Today, Angela serves as the Head Women’s Golf Coach at Point University, where she is dedicated to mentoring young athletes and shaping future champions. Her return to competition on the Legends Tour reflects her ongoing drive to chase excellence and inspire others—especially her family and players—to keep striving for their dreams.
