BJ’s Charity Championship Pairings, Tee Times Announced for Friday at The Ridge

(September 9, 2026 – Sandwich, Mass.) — The pairings are set for the ninth annual BJ’s Charity Championship presented by Kimberly-Clark, with 28 LPGA Legends scheduled to tee it up Friday, September 11, at The Ridge Club in Sandwich, Mass.

Fourteen two-woman teams will compete in the one-day team event, with the first groups teeing off at 9:30 a.m. and the final pairings beginning at 10:42 a.m.

Collectively, the field has earned 289 LPGA Tour victories and 33 major championship titles and includes six LPGA and World Golf Hall of Fame members, seven U.S. Women’s Open champions and four U.S. Senior Women’s Open champions.

This year’s pairings also create some new combinations — including a split of one of the tournament’s familiar teams.

LPGA Tour champion Laura Diaz and World Golf Hall of Fame member Jan Stephenson have teamed up at the BJ’s Charity Championship for the past four years and captured the title together in 2021. On Friday, each will tee it up with a new partner.

Diaz will team with 7-time LPGA Tour champion Michelle McGann, reuniting a partnership from this summer’s Woodford Legends Invitational.

“Michelle is just plain fun,” says Diaz. “She always brings the smiles and laughter — and that’s what this event is all about. We just go out there and have a really good time. We love the fans here. I’ll miss playing with Jan, but I’m hoping Michelle and I put something special together and go low!”

Going low, Diaz notes, will require an aggressive approach at The Ridge Club — particularly on its par 5s.

“You have to be aggressive pretty much everywhere, but there are a couple of par 5s out there that I haven’t fully taken advantage of in previous years,” says Diaz. “Hole No. 3 is definitely a target hole for us. I would really love for us to make an eagle 3 there.”

Stephenson, meanwhile, will team with LPGA Tour stalwart Natalie Gulbis, one of four “future Legends” making their BJ’s Charity Championship debuts this year.

The pairing has some history of its own.

“I loved being paired with Natalie when I was on Tour. We once did a photo shoot together for Golf Magazine — a kind of ‘before’ and ‘after.’ I was the ‘after,'” chuckles Stephenson.

“Her father told me she played with Jan Stephenson clubs growing up,” adds Stephenson. “She’s very excited to play with me and, of course, I am very excited to play with her because she absolutely bombs it!”

Gulbis is joined by fellow BJ’s Charity Championship newcomers Brittany Lincicome, Sandra Gal and Alison Walshe, each paired with a World Golf Hall of Fame member. Lincicome will play alongside three-time U.S. Women’s Open champion Hollis Stacy, Gal will team with 19-time LPGA Tour champion Sandra Palmer, and Walshe will partner with five-time major champion Amy Alcott.

“I like our chances,” says Lincicome. “Hollis is an amazing player – she played well a couple weeks ago in the U.S. Senior Women’s Open. Hollis knows the course and we’re ready to play some good golf!”

HOW TO WATCH: JANE BLALOCK’S GUIDE TO THE RIDGE CLUB
For spectators planning to follow the action Friday, few people know The Ridge Club better than Jane Blalock. The 27-time LPGA Tour champion is a member at The Ridge Club and calls it her home course.

Her recommendation: start at No. 1, find a few strategic viewing spots along the way, and make sure you’re at No. 18 for the finish.

“I would definitely start at the 1st tee because you hear the announcements, you hear all the credentials, which are through the roof,” Blalock said.

From there, she suggests heading to the fifth green, where spectators can watch approach shots into No. 5 and then turn to see the players tee off on No. 6.

“I think that’s a good spot,” Blalock said.

On the back nine, Blalock recommends finding similar vantage points that provide a view of more than one hole. The 13th green offers a look at players finishing the hole as well as teeing off on No. 14, while spectators near the 15th green can also watch drives from the 16th tee.

But wherever fans spend the middle of their day, Blalock has one firm recommendation for the finish.

“You have to get to the 18th hole,” she said. “That finishing hole, par five, second shot, go for it, over water, and there’s a lot of drama. Usually, the scores are so close as it’s finishing up. Just an awful lot of excitement.”

With seven waves of players teeing off over just 72 minutes, fans can see virtually the entire field come through those strategic viewing areas — and then gather around the 18th green as the championship is decided.

Gates open at 9:00 a.m. Admission is free as is parking next door at Holly Ridge Golf Course. A complimentary shuttle runs between parking and the main entrance. For more details, click on pairings and tee times, live scoring and the official tournament program.
