2007 DR Classic
Over $700,000 raised for the Duane Reade Charitable Foundation in two years!

The Duane Reade Classic has been hosted by Duane Reade and presented by Proctor and Gamble for two straight years at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, NJ. The event features 36 - 40 Legends Tour professionals, including 6 Hall of Famers. Pros in the DR Classic have combined to win over 355 LPGA Tournaments and 39 Major Championships.

For nearly five decades, Duane Reade has assisted with the health and wellness of citizens in the New York metro area. To take that commitment a step further, Duane Reade founded the Duane Reade Charitable Foundation in 2007. The Foundation focuses on supporting charities throughout metropolitan New York that are devoted to better health and well-being for those in need.

It also contributes to causes that address local community issues. To date, the Duane Reade Charitable Foundation has been an active participant with the New York Chapter of the American Diabetes Association, the New York AIDS Walk, PBA Widows & Orphans Fund, American Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association and many more. Duane Reade considers it an honor and a privilege to reach out to the community at large. As part of the fabric of New York, Duane Reade knows how generous its supporters can be, raising more money each year to give back to the people of this great city.

Over 300 amateurs have teed it up with the Legends pros in the DR Classic since its inception.
